Hallelujah! part 2

I only have a minute, but I have to say WOW.  The lifebooks are an absolutely resounding success.  My kids just can't get enough of them, they've been poring over them and exclaiming, and questioning, and pointing, and sighing with pleasure, for over an hour.  If you've adopted an older child, I so highly recommend taking the time to do a lifebook.  Even if you, like me, hate the very thought of a glue stick.

Really.  Do it.

Pics forthcoming.

Congrats, Gwen! I haven't given this too much thought but would like to do it. How did you decide what to include? Did you include everything from their first home, to orphanages, to first few days in Canada?
Hope you're all doing well!

I'm dreading, dreading, dreading this job. I would so appreciate details (and photos) as to what you included. I am NOT a scrapbooker, and most of my photos never make print, so this feels like an overwhelming task to me. Help!

Debbie Doomsday here. Be sure to scan those suckers in case of, well, 'worst case scenario'. And store that somewhere off site. Out of your house, that is. Great job...I know how much our daughter loves hers!

Hello, Debbie! Good to see you, old friend whom I know so well. :)

Yeah, I made doubles of some of the pages, and scanned the others -- because making backup copies of the lifebooks meant making FOUR of each page. And I don't have that much energy, or, frankly, that much time in my life.
